Sterling Silver Giraffe Charm
For example, last fall I took my granddaughter Ada to the Lowery Zoo in Tampa. One of her favorite things in the world is to feed the giraffe a special cracker. Grammy (that's me, of course) held her up while she stretched out her arm to this enormous, gentle animal. I watched with complete amazement while the giraffe, towering over us, collected it ever so gently from her two year old fingers with his blue prehensile tongue.
The giraffe, of course, is the world's tallest animal. That was abundantly clear to me as this large head towering over ours slowly lowered itself on the tall and spotted crane to investigate the cracker.
Giraffes sometimes participate in a kind of traditional establishing of hierarchy among males by standing next to each other and then swinging their necks with force, banging a head into the other giraffe. Usually no one is hurt.
For the giraffe lover who may have had a bit of a hard time locating a sterling silver giraffe charm- I do hope you enjoy my design!
