14k Solid Gold Tooth Fairy Pendant
A few weeks ago I was playing with my not-quite-3 year old granddaughter Ada and we had one of my tooth fairy designs to hand. (As you might guess, she is absolutely entranced by many of Grammy's designs, but the tooth fairy seems to be the current favorite.) This is when the fairy received her name, which Ada tells me is "Nettie' and a very fairy-like one it is. It is quite possible she was influenced by one of her books that had a fairy of that name in it, but that's OK. I still find it very fitting. Ada seems naturally very inclined towards imagination and magical things, which I attribute to no TV and to an entire extended family that encourages creative play. Lucky girl!
By the way, Ada just received her first dental exam by our family dentist, Dr. Charlie, who was instrumental in my initial desire to create dental themed jewelry in the first place. Funny how things can be connected! Ada was pretty patient with Dr. Charlie, but he had her sit on her mom's lap for the exam, which I thought was brilliant!
If you are looking for something special, pretty and fun to wear to the Dental Clinic, perhaps a gold tooth fairy pendant would be the most suitable thing, what do you think?
