NAME TAGS LAST LONGER WITH PROPER CARE
Did you know that your metal name badges can stay shiny and beautiful for a long time with very little care?
The main thing to keep in mind with both brass nametags and stainless steel nametags is keeping them as scratch- free as possible. I found it to be a good idea to put your name badge in a plastic bag when you’re not wearing it, instead of putting it in your purse or pocket unprotected.
These engraved name tags are quite durable. I have some customers who’ve been wearing them for almost a decade. So you don’t have to fret too much about care of your custom name badge-they do hold up quite well.
Custom Animal Design Name Badges
If you have one of my nametags with a clay animal design, you can give the little creature a gentle scrub with an old toothbrush and a bit of dish soap from time to time. That should remove any loose dirt or oil from the design.
I caution against using anything stronger to clean your engraved name tags, because some substances might tend to fade the engraving. Just stick to a little dish detergent and you should have no problem.
Once in a while a clay animal might be damaged, especially if you work in a veterinary clinic and a bird or other animal gets hold of your custom name badge. After all, those strong macaw beaks can crack a brazil nut!
If your name tags run into some such misfortune, you can send it to me and I’ll do some repair work on it for free. I cannot repair scratched or bent metal plates, but I can usually fix a clay animal that is missing an eye, ear or some other body part.
Occasionally I hear from customers who have lost magnetic backs from their magnetic name badges. When that happens, I’m happy to get them a replacement right away. I certainly don’t want you to go for long not wearing your magnetic name tags!
If the day arrives when your custom nametag does need replacing due to a name change, one too many scratches or just the need for a new look, I’m here and happy to work with you. I have quite a few customers who own several of my name badges so they can switch them off.
