NAME TAGS CAN BE MORE THAN JUST A NAME
Many of my customers consider their Magic Zoo Name Tag rather special, like a favorite piece of jewelry rather than just a name badge. There are some ways to keep your name badge looking great for a long time, tips I’ve gleaned from the 10 years I’ve been creating them.Engraved name badges look professional and are a great way for your customers to “remember” your name! If you work in a large organization, it’s also a wonderful way for employees to get to know each other.
Employee name badges not only save embarrassment (don’t you hate it when someone says “Hello Joe!” (insert your name here) and you don’t have the foggiest what their name is)?
Custom Name Badges
Custom nametags can be personalized even more by making them say something about the person. What is the employee’s title? You can even reinforce the name of your business or clinic by including that as the last line on the metal name badges.
But of course the way you can really make your own name tags is by ordering one with my pewter or clay animal designs!
I make quite a few doctor nametags, but veterinarians are not the only ones who enjoy wearing my engraved name badges. Just last summer I took an order for a namebadge for a police officer in Pittsburgh! He asked for a Doberman pinscher design, if my memory serves me correctly.
Dentist name badges are becoming popular as well. I have 3 variations of the tooth fairy design as well as a funny tooth holding a tooth brush! So you can even have funny name tags if you want to make your patients relax a little. Now all the employee name tags in your Dental Clinic can have the same theme if you like.
Have you ever tried using magnetic nametags? These are really wonderful for so many reasons. Magnetic name tags have a stainless steel strip on the back of the namebadge. A removable magnet comes with the nametag and keeps the badge in place by wearing it on the inside of the lab coat or shirt. In other words, the magnetic name tag is on the front of the blouse or shirt, the magnet goes on the other side of the cloth, holding the nametag just where you want it!
I’ve been making creative staff nametags for many years and by far, the magnetic name badge is the favorite. For one thing, you don’t have to worry about putting holes in your clothing. For another, they just seem to stay on better. I do have the engraved name badges with the pin backs as well, but I always encourage my customers to go for the ones that have the magnet back.
My permanent nametags are made from either stainless steel (silver toned) or brass (gold toned). I like both the brass nametags and the stainless steel nametags. Some of my customers let their employees pick the color tone they like best and others have a theme, so all the company name badges match.
Just so you know I can make you plastic name tags as well. But 99.9% of my customers prefer the metal name badges.
Why would you want to spend a little more and buy name tags from The Magic Zoo? There just aren’t other nametags online that have the custom name badge quality of my name badges. I love to make creative nametags that say a little more about the person than just his or her name.
After all, you have to wear name tags day in and day out. It seems like more fun to put one on that makes you (and your customers!) smile.
Mostly, I want you to have fun wearing your name badge, and I want you to look forward to putting it on every day.
