Description: The expression on the faces of this pair of earrings seems to be something akin to surprise, with those eyes about as big as they can possibly be! Well after all pugs do have one of the most expressive pair of eyes of all the dog breeds. Maybe this wide-eyed little pug is thinking of his dog bone, like the one on my silver dog bone post earring page! These dogs are magnets for affection, and probably would never tire of pets and hugs being bestowed on them. This is good, especially if you have children, because an overabundance of affection is what kids are usually about when it comes to pets. Unfortunately pugs can sometimes have some breathing difficulties because of the short muzzle. Because of this, it’s a good idea not to have the pug exposed to very high temperatures. There are some very real structural reasons for this difficulty, and it seems like something every pug owner should know about. One reason I designed these post earrings, is I know how affectionate children can be with their dogs, and the pug was an ideal candidate to use as a model to create this pair of sterling silver pug post earrings from.
