Description: They definitely are large enough to notice on the ear without being overwhelming. Posts and butterfly nut fasteners are also sterling silver on all my stud earrings. You can find other dogs on my silver dog studs page. This might be a nice gift for a special occasion-especially if you include one of the Great Dane pendants with it to make a nice set. Or you can select one of my other designs such as my silver Greyhound posts. All of my sterling Great Dane designs have a really unique and classy look. They really show off their innate “sterling silverness”. In other words, they’re shiny! There are anywhere from five to twelve puppies in a litter of Great Danes. Hard to believe, but true nonetheless. If the cropping of the ears is to take place, it’s supposed to be done at about eight weeks of age. Personally, I think they look just dandy with the un-cropped ears. But I will say that cropping the Great Dane’s ears don’t make them look at all sinister, unlike some other breeds. But that’s just me. Great Danes have a very gentle reputation, but they seem to be a little distrustful when it comes to other dogs in their vicinity. Maybe the reason is their height- the smaller dogs just get mistaken for bugs. These sterling silver Great Dane post earrings are probably a little large for a very young girl, but most anyone else can wear them well. |
