I just keep on increasing my selection of sterling silver farm animal pins. There are quite a few I’m still aching to design. Farm animal jewelry is perhaps a slightly neglected area of the animal jewelry world.
That’s the great thing about having a web store. You see, the glass and wood display cases at my shows are so crowded now that it’s becoming harder and harder to get inventive with rearranging jewelry so I can get everything in. But with an internet store, there appears to be no limit on the number of items you can see! Then it just becomes a problem of actually getting everything photographed, which is another story, but that just involves nagging my husband to get it done. (Something I’m fairy adept at after 31 years of marriage.)
Then the only other problem is squeezing out that design time. I do seem to manage that fairy well, although more of it would be wonderful! I sometimes fantasize about having my own vegetarian gourmet cook, a housekeeper and a juice maker to take on those areas of life that take precious hours away from creativity. I do love cooking, but I’d be happy with preparing just two or three meals a week.
So there you have it. I will work on some more sterling silver farm animal pins as soon as my gourmet cook takes over the Portobello mushroom casserole making!
