Sterling silver pins are such a wonderful and traditional silver jewelry item. I love creating surprising silver pins- designs you’d not really expect to see! – (Think in terms of a sterling silver sheep pin, or perhaps a sterling silver bat pin!) I also make quite a few pin and pendants combination designs, which can certainly be worn as pins only. If you include these, I have a pretty large selection of pins. All of my pins are .925 silver, very high quality with a beautiful sheen and lots of detail. That’s where I really get to have fun in the design process. I can get lost in designing something new, seeing just how much intricate detail I can add as I go along. I’ve been known to work on a single design for many days, always seeing something new to add or change when I look at it with fresh eyes. Sometimes I start over completely, even when I thought I was completely done the last time I worked on it! Brooches are especially tasteful as a gift for a woman who doesn’t have her ears pierced. There’s nothing quite like a uniquely beautiful pin when worn on a jacket, coat or cotton blouse. I have some customers who wear my sterling silver animal pins to commemorate a favorite pet, and I feel especially honored by that. |
