Description: This one would actually combine quite nicely with the sterling mouse earrings for a pretty unusual small pet jewelry set. How many times have you longed for a mouse pendant. You say you can’t recall that ever happening? Nonsense! Otherwise, why would I ever have gone to all the trouble to design this? Mice are rather near sighted animals, which explains why they run wily nily around a room where they are going to be spotted by either a hysterical woman or a very interested cat. The one we think of as the house mouse often moves into human homes in the winter and country mouse estates when the weather warms up and they can find food and shelter outside. What, do they only love us for the food and warm wall space? Apparently so. Ungrateful little tykes. Mice do live dangerously when they stay outdoors. They make tasty snacks for hawks, owls, foxes and cats. Snakes also make them part of a balanced diet. I reckon that’s why there are so many of them. This silver mouse pendant hangs nicely and is a charming profile of the omnipresent rodent that we have come to both admire and abhor, hopefully more of the former and less of the latter.
