This herd of sterling silver horse pendants seems to keep expanding. Sometimes when I do a new design I really don’t know when to quit and end up making three different sizes of pendants for a single design. When I originally started to design for the silver medium, I was in “overkill” mode. Everything I made had 2 or three versions. Later on I learned the hard way that until I knew something would actually sell, just make one version. Smart! Well, maybe not so smart that it took me so long to get to that conclusion. On the plus side, you have silver pendants with marine animal designs as well as everything at silver pendant home.
I learned a lot of things the hard way as an artist and an entrepreneur. But that’s OK! The best thing I ever did was taking the bull by the horn and creating my own business from the ground up. I really have my mom to think for my persistence in this area. I grew up with a wonderful example of her making a living as an artist and have never wavered from the certainty that it can be done. I don’t mind lots of work and that’s the number one requisite for making anything worthwhile proceed apace.
The result is lots of animal jewelry and now other zones of sterling silver jewelry as well.
