I have oodles of sterling silver farm animal pendants to choose from. Perhaps after dogs, I have more farm animal pendants than any of the other categories. This is not scientific, just off top of my head. And it spills over into silver horse pendant gifts. I could use a goat trimming up my overgrown Florida backyard right about now. When we first bought our property in Northern California, we thought we’d have a little herd of goats to keep the grass down. It may have been a good thing this idea never came to fruition since I don’t believe that goats really distinguish between grass that needs mowing and daffodils and other decorative plants. We had a hard enough time with deer eating all our flowers! On another goat note, we can buy the same brand of goat yogurt here that we used to buy from a California farm when we lived there. Those goats support us clear across the country. That reminds me of the time a deer dug his way under the fence surrounding our vegetable garden and created havoc and pandemonium amongst my precious zucchini plants. I hysterically flailed my arms in a vain attempt to chase him out the garden door which I’d opened wide. Does it not seem odd that a deer would tunnel under a fence to get to a garden? Looking back at that incident it seems nearly impossible, but that is indeed how it went. Barring any other troublesome events with deer (I haven’t seen a one in Clearwater) I will continue to design more sterling silver farm animal pendants along with the the others on my sterling silver pendant home page. |
