Description: This pendant is a simple design, but the weimaraner head is so beautiful as it is that simple seemed to be the best way to design it. This particular type of my Weimaraner creations has three different sizes of pendants, if you include the pin-pendant. This particular one is actually the middle sized of the three. The Weimaraner is one of the largest of the gun dogs, and they are form 25 to 27 inches high at the withers. They can weigh from 55 to 85 pounds depending on the sex and the dog. He is truly a beautiful canine, with color ranging from silvery grey to a dark silvery taupe color. I think the eyes of the Weimaraner are one of the most distinctive features of the dog, a beautiful match for the coat color. The breed is described as one that has much confidence and a quite stable temperament. It was recognized as a breed in Germany in 1896. The German Weimaraner Club was organized just a year later. The original purpose of the breed was to save it from extinction. This they did, although rather ruthlessly. All the puppies had to be perfect specimens of the breed.
