Description: Of course I also have the matching dangle earrings for a great dog jewelry set. He’s so little, I think one helps to balance out the other! For the past 9 years I’ve been participating in an art show in Texas, where I come close to selling out of my little taco dog. Texans know a good thing when they see one! From my experience Chihuahuas and dachshunds are both beloved by the Texans. A little dog in a big state seems to make sense, somehow! The ears of the Chihuahua are probably its most recognizable feature. When the dog is alert, the ears are erect, set at a 45 degree angle to the head. The tail is one the Chihuahua carries proudly, like a little flag! There are, of course, two variations in the kind of coat. The smooth coat and the rough, or long coat. Both coat varieties have an undercoat. The color of the coat has a lot of variation, from a soft sandy color to a blue. There is the classic tan with a white stripe on the nose and going up the forehead that I see most often. One of the prettiest coats is the black with the tan above the eyes and across the bridge of the nose , extending across the cheeks. The wonderful thing about a sterling silver Chihuahua small pendant is it can be representative of all the various colors, playing favorite to none. Still looking?
