Description: This looks like a large and noble breed to me, though I’ve not known one personally and I’m really going by how they look and the stories my customers tell me about their dogs. It’s been said that this breed is not meant for the novice dog owner, since they can be very stubborn and they are quite strong as well. I can just imagine some sweet young thing trying to control the attention of a massive mastiff and getting no where fast! Not that small owner size always means a tough time in handling a large breed. I’m sure that it has more to do with the person’s ability to make their intentions known without being “wobbly” about it. I once had a neighbor in California who weighed about 85 pounds and owned a mixed breed dog, part rottie, that was almost twice her size. I went to visit her after she’d given birth to her first child, and the dog, being quite protective, gave me a warning nip on my arm as I was leaving her house. It definitely frightened me, but Janice was instantly all over the dog with a voice that had no mixed message whatsoever and the dog (thankfully) backed off. So size of the dog’s master obviously has nothing to do with the ability to maintain discipline! This bull mastiff pendant could go a long way towards brightening the day of someone you love!
