Description: The boxer with his muscular back and well developed chest and head looks the picture of good health and happiness as a breed. They say the kind of parent a person is reflects a lot about that person. The boxer makes an excellent mother, watching over her little charges and making sure they grow up to be good doggy citizens. The coat of the boxer seems to be pretty easy to take care of since it is short. It needs just a light brushing, in fact. But keep those nails trimmed! Especially if you have a dog that likes to jump on people as a happy greeting. (Something they should be taught not to do at any rate, anyway!) This dog, despite the fact that sometimes he looks a little worried, is actually a very extroverted dog and always ready for a good time. He is serious, however about protecting the well being of his pack (you and your family) and it would behoove the boxer owner to make sure her dog is taught to behave. I understand why my sterling silver boxer pendant has become pretty popular. If I owned one of these dogs I would imagine he would become somewhat of a best friend and it would be nice to be reminded of him during the day at work.
