Description: The sterling silver dangle beagle earrings really set off this pendant design nicely and could create an entire sterling silver dog jewelry set. Long ago the beagle was already used as a hunting dog in both France and Wales. In fact, it’s thought of as the very best hare dog, outshining all the other small hounds. Beagles are good at what they do, in other words! There are two sizes recognized by the American Kennel Club. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen the two sizes side by side nor do I know what the difference in size consists of. None of the references I have to hand goes over that point in any detail. I’d like to see the difference for myself. When this dog goes out for a bit of exercise, they shouldn’t be let off the lead. They might just take it unto themselves to go visiting the neighbors who live a few miles away, or perhaps that enticing aroma needs to be investigated- the one that leads them just over the hill and into another area of town altogether. From reading about their habit of wandering away, it’s a miracle there aren’t lost beagles walking all around us, just trying to find their way back home after a careless person left the fence wide open!
