Description: The tie tack is .925 silver and quite an attractive piece of jewelry, if I say so myself! The design is slightly different than my other caduceus designs since, of course, I do all the originals by hand. When I was young, there were very few veterinarians who were women. I think that has reversed by now, but I just find that kind of interesting. It’s a bit of trivia, but it is also the reason why the majority of my jewelry is for women. Coming very soon are some cufflinks for men. In fact, I have made them and hopefully they’re either up on the website already, or will be in very short order. I am really trying to help out and not be completely prejudicial in favor of the ladies. I want to supply every male veterinarian with as much Magic Zoo jewelry as possible, of course! I’ll send my sterling silver tie tack caduceus with a durable stainless steel back so you can put it right on that lapel. (There is a gold veterinary tie tack alternative as well.) Do any of you actually wear ties any more? Probably as rarely as possible, if you’re anything like my husband. But the name seems to stick anyway!
