Description: So I had wonderful real life inspiration for these rascally little goat earrings. Our family is especially fond of goat yogurt and goat cheese. I realize that special dairy goats are raised for this purpose, and I like to think that they’re happy goats scampering about the countryside with their cute kids. The products they produce are certainly tasty-to me way better than traditional milk products. And they are supposed to be easier to digest. I found out, interestingly enough, that the average female goat weighs close to the average woman (about 135 pounds) and the average male goat is close to the average weight of a healthy man (about 160 pounds). This is why it makes sense to me that their milk would be more compatible with human beings than a cow’s, the milk of which is meant to grow a calf into a cow or bull weighing around 2,000 pounds! To me, it seems easy to figure out what would be the healthier way to go. It’s true there is a distinct taste to goat milk products, but I think it’s a delicious and natural flavor. By the way, I am receiving no compensation from the Dairy Farmers of America! I think these sterling silver goat earrings are pretty cute and are definitely detailed enough to make any goat lover happy.
