Description: I need to mention that my rendition of the noble breed is not for everyone. Some German Shepherd owners love it and some find it a bit too fanciful for their tastes. My feelings aren’t hurt- I just want my customers to be happy with anything they may purchase from me. I am constantly redesigning items, so at some point in the future there will be another German Shepherd to choose from! Enough about my efforts, let’s hear something about the breed! The ancestor of the German shepherd dog is probably the mountain sheepdog from Germany. In the latter part of the 19th century the dog was further “enhanced” to make it suitable for work in the German military. It was a sturdy dog, used to carry ammunition and medical supplies. The dog was later used as a dog for guarding prisoners in the two world wars. After World War II, the German shepherd made its way to the United States and England with the soldiers who were returning home. And now, I present my current version of the mighty German Shepherd as sterling silver German shepherd earrings!
