Description: Despite their relatively small size, I’ve managed to put quite a bit of detail into the design. They are not heavy earrings-and can be worn comfortably all day long for most women. Of course if you knew more about the story behind this pair of earrings, they would be even more meaningful! The cat Poindexter and the dog Hoover liked each other very much indeed. Hoover led a somewhat sedentary life, whereas Poindexter was a dashing yellow tom who was forced to fend for himself. Hoover sometimes felt a little sheltered when he heard some of the cat’s adventures, but that wasn’t why he told them to the dog. He was lonely and usually hungry, and the big dog seemed to enjoy his company. One day as he was doing his belly crawl to get underneath the picket fence to visit his canine companion one of the other feral cats in the neighborhood snarled that he was a dog lover. Since Poindexter wasn’t sure why that was a bad thing, he ignored the taunt. The golden retriever stood on the other side, his big pink tongue dripping from the drink he’d just lapped up. Poindexter gave him a playful buff on the tail and Hoover licked him. And so began another companionable afternoon between the two friends.
