Description: One of these days I’ll plant a whole slew of butterfly attracting plants in my backyard, just where I can see them while I’m sitting at my desk designing silver bug jewelry. That would be the good life!  There’s a place not too far from where we live where an entire outdoor botanical garden is planted for the public, full of native Florida plants as well as some of the more exotic fruit trees, etc. My favorite part of this is the butterfly garden. Sweet place! We are lucky to have some marvelous varieties of butterflies here in Florida, and I think every one of them was in this place. One of my favorites from this area is the zebra butterfly, but there are many others as well. Swallowtails, little orange butterflies that seem to fly around in gangs, big yellow butterflies. If I could only attract them all to my yard in even greater numbers than I do now! The funny thing is that I seldom see a caterpillar. Well, I do see them once in a while, but they must be rather secretive or my granddaughter would have located them by now. She takes after me- loves all those critters. And at her age and size and proximity to the ground, the critters she has the most to do with are the bugs. Wear these inspired butterfly earrings and dream about spring, no matter what the season is! You can watch occasionally for new sterling silver insect earring designs as I plan to create more of them. A pair of unusual dragonfly earrings has now appeared.
