Sterling silver bird earrings seem to be just the thing to dangle from one’s ears. They swing from an earlobe, suggestive of flight and freedom. They are one of my favorite types of silver earrings. Who hasn’t experienced the wonder of nighttime dreaming when all gravitational considerations are given the heave ho. After a night of soaring across open fields, unreachable and free I’m always in a good mood. At least the possibility of flight exists when I sleep! What do birds dream about? Walking across streets and riding buses? Once in a while I’ll be exhibiting my sterling silver jewelry at a trade show in a convention center and a (to my perception) hapless bird will be twittering amongst the girders at the top of the enormous room. It always seems to me that is such a waste of the joy and freedom of being a bird! But on the other hand, maybe the bird is just tired of all that freedom and wants to see how the other half lives. At any rate, I always imagine them soaring out through the loading dock doors at the end of the show. I hope that’s true. Otherwise think of trying to raise a nest of youngsters on the scraps from convention-goers lunches! So I’ll continue to create sterling silver bird earrings and eventually get to design some of my favorite songbirds, just you wait and see. You'll find more winged creatures in my sterling silver insect earring section. |
