Description: House mice, of which this little silver mouse is an example of, are especially fond of living in places of human habitation, where food and shelter are easily forthcoming. They are sometimes even found in freezing meat lockers in the dark. It sure seems like a cozy little burrow in the woods would be preferable, but hey, I’m not a mouse so what do I know? I just read something that made mice seem like rodent super heroes. They are said to be able to scale walls of brick, leap straight up in the air when startled and get themselves through really small holes that are only 3/8 of an inch round! Mice that are in an aggressive stance stand up on their hind legs and put their forepaws together. They do this when a foreign mouse enters their territory and also when a cat is tormenting it. Even though it looks like the mouse is praying the truth is that it is showing aggression towards the cat. I don’t think the cat gets the message, though. Too bad for the mouse. Perhaps they at least die in a valiant manner that does their relatives proud. Isn’t a sweet sterling silver mouse charm something most women would find irresistible, no matter their abhorrence of the real thing? Strangely enough, I think so.
