In a book I have on reptile care it mentions that for the pet beardie, you have to use experience to see how many bugs they require to maintain health. Some of them develop preferences for certain insects, but you have to make sure that they do get a variety of food. It sounds like you need to consult with a vet or another knowledgeable person if you’re not sure what to feed your bearded dragon. I wonder if you have to be aware of the vitamins present in their native bug population in order to supplement the pet dragon.  I think the bearded dragon is a handsome one with that spikey “beard” and large ear opening close to the jaw. And speaking of ears, the dragon can not only hear sound waves through the air, but undoubtedly can feel vibrations in the ground. This would work well with this reptile because the lower jaw is low to the ground and the vibrations could be transmitted through it.
