Give her something she will really love- a sterling silver western horse charm that will remind her of her favorite animal no matter where she is!

This is an unusual and whimsical horse charm that will dangle beautifully from her wrist. Whether or not she has other horses on her charm bracelet, this one will either fit in wonderfully, or start a whole new collectible charm type for her.

Measuring ½ inch wide by ¾ inch tall, it is neither too large nor too small to be seen.

Description:
Horses are amazing animals. They are, of course, herd animals and are very sensitive to danger. In the wild situation, the herd is led by a dominant stallion. There is usually a dominant mare as well. It’s said that once the harem is established, the stallion seems satisfied and doesn’t really look for new blood to add.

Sometimes a couple of mares will become good friends and will pair off. And even young stallions will bond together before they have their own harems.

Because horses are herd animals, they often bond closely with their owner, as he or she becomes a substitute for the herd. If they are kept in a herd they would have not much of a need to bond outside the group.

Horses actually groom each other, which I was unaware of. They get themselves in a position where the heads are facing in opposite directions and then “chew” along each other’s neck. It probably feels good and also gets rid of some parasites they’d never be able to reach otherwise. Bonded horses also use their tails to swish each other and keep the flies off. This is a common sight one sees in the summer months. I’m going to start looking for some of this behavior the next time we’re on a road trip.

The sterling silver western horse charm should help to fill out that charm bracelet!
