Description: I’d say that my design is more on the whimsical side than some artist’s portrayal of the breed (i.e. not completely realistic) so you might want to take that into consideration when thinking of this design as a gift. The German shepherd is a powerful dog, used frequently in the police force, military, as a seeing eye dog for the blind, to herd sheep and in many other areas. This is certainly a multi-talented dog! Probably I’ve seen it used the most on the police force, and this seems to be a career that the mighty German Shepherd is especially well suited for. I don’t think a suspect would be particularly pleased to see one of these might dogs approach him as he fled! I find it interesting that many of the canine corps spend their off hours in the loving homes of their comrades in arms, the families of the police officers. I do believe that retired dogs are able to stay as family pets as well. It only seems fair that after years of faithful service they should have a comfortable retirement! You might consider this sterling silver German shepherd dog charm as an interesting addition to an unusual charm bracelet.
