Description: Boxers were originally hunting dogs and this I can understand as they seem to be dogs of much courage and intelligence. His native smarts have been put to work as a police and a military dog, thought I don’t know I’ve ever met a boxer that worked in either of those capacities. They seem like they would sooner lick someone to death than terrorize them. Maybe they use the boxer for the “good cop” and the Doberman for the “bad cop”. The breed is the result of breeding between the mastiff and the bulldog. It seems any of the dogs with a similar muzzle are in some way a derivative of the bulldog. My question is where did the bulldog get that muzzle from? These are the kinds of things I think about. Back to the hunting aspect. Apparently they were adept at hunting wild boar, bears and deer. They had to have been some tough cookies, all right! Can you imagine pitting any dog against a bear? Perhaps they hunted in giant herds of boxer. That’s the only thing I can think of. I hope you have a charm bracelet that this sterling silver boxer charm could go on. I have many other breeds to see at sterling silver dog charms and even a cute dog and cat combination charm.
