I think my pewter short-haired cat lapel pin is really kind of classy looking. Sure it's pewter, but pewter is a pretty interesting metal with a very handcrafted look and appeal. Besides, if you'd rather have a short-haired cat design in sterling silver or gold, I have those as well.
