All the pewter post earrings in this series are really pewter versions of the enamel post earrings. They haven’t received the enamel painting treatment and are in their original state. Pewter is a great metal. Not as fine in texture and feel as sterling silver, it yet has a bit of the same look and can be worn to good advantage by women who look good in and find themselves attracted to sterling silver. Since all my pewter jewelry and all my sterling silver jewelry are designed by the same artist (me) the look will be somewhat similar. Just as an aside, the post backs on all my pewter earrings are surgical stainless steel. Do you like the look of these pewter stud earrings but you wish they had a bit more color?
