Description: It is a simple design, but I think nonetheless effective. The look of pewter is a bit rougher than silver, but that is part of the charm of this metal. To me it has a wonderful hand made look, and I think it’s nice enough to make a little horse-loving gift. Sometimes when you’re shopping you have to pay some attention to your budget. This can present a problem if you want to give something nice. I think pewter can be a great solution, because depending on the design, it can still be a beautiful piece. I work just as hard on my pewter designs as I do on the designs to be cast in silver or gold. It’s inconceivable to me to be lax in creating my pewter jewelry. I want to go “OOH, AHH!” when I complete a design. If that’s my reaction, I’m pretty sure my customers will find something to like about it too. It doesn’t matter what metal it’s made from. The other charming thing about all my pewter necklaces is that they have a pair of Czech glass beads as part of the design. I thought that would be a nice addition to the piece, and I love the fact that I can dress them up with a bit of color. If you need a fun and easy on the budget gift, this pewter horse necklace would be a great idea. |
