Here you have a great little piece of horse jewelry at a cost most could afford; the pewter horse necklace design.
There seems to be a tradition of horse jewelry for young ladies who, no matter whether their parents live on a farm or can or cannot afford riding lessons, still seem to be enamored of horses. My own sister falls into this category. We grew up in Greenhills, a suburb of Cincinnati in Ohio. Our family struggled financially, but my sister never lost hope that some day she would be a rider. Well, even though she had to grow up and raise three kids before it could happen, she eventually did own a horse and became a good rider. I love that.
If your child loves horses, it seems the best thing to do is to encourage her or him. I’ve always thought the very best way to raise a child is to support whatever it is your little one seems to be interested in. (This does not include video games, unless he or she wants to actually design them!) If you can’t afford riding lessons, perhaps an older child could have a little job to help them earn money for that.
I have created a pewter horse necklace that is priced nicely for most people, and I hope you have someone in your family destined to be a rider who wouldn’t mind wearing this around her neck!
