Pewter has a comparatively roughly hewn look, at least when you put a similar design in silver right next to it. I’d say the majority of my jewelry is purchased by and for women, but that’s not to say there’s any reason why the guys shouldn’t enjoy wearing some select pieces as well

The pewter necklace is a good one if you aren’t really dressing up, but would still like a piece of jewelry to set off an item of clothing.

I would say if you are playing at “dress up”, you’d be better off not with a pewter design but in wearing something in one of the precious metals. But pewter jewelry certainly has its place, and the bottom line is you should wear what feels right to you.
