Here’s a section you might enjoy: pewter wild life lapel pins and tie tacks. Do you feel taken advantage of? Were you expecting row after row of wonderfully detailed wild life in pewter? No, nothing of the kind. One little monkey so far, grinning expectantly. (And barely more in the fine pewter bird lapel pin department.) Here’s the problem if I might speak in my defense.
I’m one little artist pitted against a world of animal possibilities! Consider all the animals past, present and future that could appear as lapel pins in pewter designs! I did not mean to trick you and then show you naught but my monkey. No indeed. And of course I could promise you that in the future there will be more. But rather than promise what may not occur for months or dare I say, years, I will give you yet another direction.
In the sterling silver, gold and enamel designs you will perhaps find what you seek. I have been designing in those mediums for a bit longer than in the pewter thus have a bit more to offer there. And now I’m getting tired of speaking in some version of Renaissance festival old English, so I’ll tell you that I may not have a lot at the moment in the pewter wildlife lapel pin section, but the truth is I do continue to design and there will undoubtedly be more later on! |
