You may have also seen my bunny design in sterling silver. It has much this same look as this pewter one, but I realize that some people prefer sterling silver over the pewter. I also have several additional bunny rabbit items in sterling, such as earrings, a charm and two differently sized pendants, one of which can be worn as a pin.

There is a missing rabbit in my life and I need to find him before my granddaughter gets too old and I can’t read her these rabbit stories. She is only 2 ½ now so I do have time. It’s a series of books about Uncle Wiggly and they were written I believe to be read to children at bedtime as each chapter was the right length and ended with something that was a teaser for the next night’s story. I saw one book in an antique store recently and the price scared me off. I keep forgetting about the Internet; I could probably find them in 5 seconds as re-prints rather than looking for them in antique stores from here to Colorado. But, I do enjoy prowling around in old stuff when I have the time and there are lots of rabbits in those stores.

 Anyways, if you need an inexpensive gift for a rabbit lover, this cute, detailed pewter rabbit pin would be a great idea.
