Description:
Now that I think of it, I don’t think I have ever seen a mouse in Florida. Is it too many snakes? I have seen these small brownish rats they call fruit rats which seem to live only outdoors and who enjoy the citrus fruits here- oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, etc. (Don’t worry they aren’t running wild in the trees that make your orange juice- they just find old trees that are abandoned and neglected in vacant lots and such.) I see possums fairly often and very rarely a dead city looking sort of rat. But where are those little grey house mice of the Midwest? Good riddance all you homemakers are thinking; you are lucky not to have those in your house to startle you. True, but the Palmetto Bugs here (cockroaches to you Northerners) can give one a mouse size startle when you aren’t expecting it!
I think he looks great in pewter (and you can’t beat the price) but I also have several mouse designs in sterling silver. So if you are a definite fan of this little rodent, I think you should see them all!
I hope you find my little pewter mouse lapel pin as cute as I do, and more importantly, I hope you need him for a gift or for yourself.
