Some may ask "what exactly is small pet jewelry?" The immediate and simple answer is that no, this is not jewelry for your guinea pig, ferret or rabbit to wear. Indeed, it is jewelry designed for the aficionado of said small animal. To be precise- you!
Small furry animals are what I’m speaking about here. Not little cats or dogs, but rodents, ferrets and lagomorphs! (rabbits) I’d seen my share of jewelry representing larger animals, and thought it was high time that a guinea pig pendant joined the ranks. Lots of people out there have small pets these days and they want to support their animals, too.
Here come a few interesting rodent facts for your entertainment!
Did you know that there are one thousand seven hundred and seventy five rodent species? There are so many of them that they occupy just about every ecological niche on the planet. They seem to flourish wherever they set up housekeeping, being highly adaptable and prolific. So I suppose it makes sense to keep them as pets. We should be able to get some joy from them –it seems only fair! And I’ve been told that they do make lovely pets. My only experience was a hamster, and I will testify that he was a lovely little guy.
If you need a pair of mouse or rat earrings, a guinea pig charm, or a bunny lapel pin, you’ve certainly come to the right place!
