Description: I have Yorkshire terrier jewelry in sterling silver and gold as well as pewter. The pewter design has its own character for those who like more of a rough-hewn look. It is definitely a unique piece. I find these little dogs are often looking up at me from what I thought was someone’s purse but turned out to be their own cozy traveling home which their owner uses to carry them when he has taken them out for an adventure. Yorkies seem to be very calm in crowds and very composed. I bet they enjoy being carried after awhile as those little feet have an awful lot of steps to take to keep up with legs the size of humans. In my Yorkie jewelry I attempt to give a some nod to the dog’s glorious looking coat. I have done many of these as custom work using clay in many colors and I recently discovered how the Yorkshire terrier jewelry really shines when done in 14k gold.
