You may have noticed that I make a lot of different pug designs. In the past 20 some years, I’ve created my pugs in polymer clay, sterling silver, gold and enamel. Because they are so much fun to make, I keep designing and redesigning them. And my pug loving customers have so far enjoyed them all.

The pug has shown up in lots of movies in the past few years- a tribute to its popularity (we hope) though sometimes these films have put the pug into what I think might be considered compromising or juvenile comedic situations by pug fans. I guess “any press is good press” might apply as millions have been exposed to pugs on the big screen. Pug owners tell me that each pug has a total different personality and that seems to fit my experiences with the one’s I’ve met. They are characters in the best sense of the word.

Pewter is an interesting medium. If you look closely at a pewter design there are a lot of little imperfections that make each piece unique. Pewter isn’t as shiny as sterling silver, but it definitely has its fans.
