Description:
Texas is definitely one of the top places to find Chihuahuas and Chihuahua fanciers. The world’s smallest dog abounds in the nation’s largest state. (I know Alaska is bigger but isn’t that counting a lot of water?) I don’t intend to offend anyone and not having been to Alaska to observe a suspected absence of Chihuahuas and having been many times to Texas and observing bountiful supplies of them, I’m sticking to my statement.
This dog breed shares its name with Chihuahua, Mexico but it’s true origin apparently is hard for experts to agree on. They certainly are endearing and a great addition to my dog jewelry collection.
The nice thing about this design is that it can be worn to keep a tie in place (but I must tell you he is not a particularly small piece, especially compared to most tie tacks). It works especially well as a pewter lapel pin. By the way, you might want to check out my Chihuahua jewelry in sterling silver and 14k gold as well.
Maybe you’re looking for a cute, but not too costly gift for a co-worker or a friend who is a real Chihuahua lover. I think this big-eared expressive pewter Chihuahua lapel pin would be a fabulous choice!
