Description: I have run into quite a few bulldogs out on walks here in my west Florida coast neighborhood and in our adjoining state where the Georgia Bulldogs seem to have popularized the dog. Each one seems totally a unique individual and a real character which is how most people from England strike me. They are themselves and not a carbon copy of the next bloke. (These dogs originated in Britain, just in case you were thinking “What do these English people have to do with Bulldogs?”) I enjoy trying to capture a bit of that personality when I work on a piece of Bulldog jewelry and have many times made someone a custom piece in clay to honor their personal pet. I think this bulldog lapel pin gets most of his exposure on the scrubs of veterinarians and their staff-but he would be great for any bulldog lover to fasten onto a favorite jacket or coat.
