I got to realizing that dentistry has come along way in terms of helping people live out their lives with teeth (real or otherwise) that are capable of chomping and chewing up the food necessary to keep a body living. It also occurred to me that they can do this now in a practically pain free way- certainly pain free compared to the old days of whiskey and pliers.
