| Fat cat jewelry has been one of the Magic Zoo hallmarks for many years. I love creating that personality all my fat cats inevitably have. It’s a combination of the naughty cat with an innate ability to hide the “bad cat” self with an innocent exterior. I used to call these Persian cats, but of course they’re really just fluffy cats, not Persian at all. I realize the Persian cat has a very distinctive face, and don’t want to give anyone the impression that I can’t actually see the difference. After all, as an artist I’m supposed to actually notice things! Someday I will make a Persian cat, I swear it’s been on my to-do list for at least 6 months. Most people I know have had a fat cat in their family. I have one friend with a cat named Tiger who is perhaps the largest cat I’ve ever seen. And he is definitely NOT fluffy. The amazing thing is that he is an excellent hunter, or at least was the last time I had contact with him. His main problem was an inability to allow his sister’s bowl to have the least bit of food left after she finished eating. So now I have fat cats in many incarnations. You can choose the one that seems to suit you the best, and then come back later for any others you must have later. Yes, fat cat jewelry can definitely be addictive. |
