I love the challenge of capturing the personality of the bird in my various bird jewelry designs. I’ve met quite a few wonderful pet birds in my life and wanted to design jewelry that their lucky human “parents” would be thrilled to wear. My favorite has to be the mischievous African grey. There’s something about that glint in his eye! I’ve also had a few lovely macaws as acquaintances, but that design is still in the future.
I’m fond of the domestic wild bird jewelry. Currently I have both raven and owl jewelry in my line, but I can’t wait to add some song birds and maybe some ducks and other water fowl as well.
You’ll find a fair number of bird jewelry designs, many of which have an earring and a pendant version. Several have matching charms as well as pin pendant choices. I try to give my customers as many choices in as many different bird designs as possible.
Birds are so much a part of our environment that it’s hard not to get inspired by their presence. I probably see at least 30 species of birds every day during my morning walk or with just a casual look outside the window.
My bird designs seem to catch people’s attention-be prepared to answer “Where did you find that?” when you leave the house wearing a handcrafted Magic Zoo bird design!
