After working on the computer all day, it seems like sitting down and combing a sheltie for a half and hour would be a grand way to relax. I think they do need something like that daily, but the beauty of their coat makes it time well spent. Actually, once a week is more like the amount of brushing time needed. My sister had a sheltie and she is not one to spend that sort of daily time grooming her dog and he always looked fine.
