Description:
Rabbits seem to be content to go about their business and not give anyone too much trouble. They are not the rabble rousing type. The big exception to this is in Australia where a few European hares were let loose with the idea of doing some rabbit hunting and in short order they managed to take over. Millions of rabbits eroded the land by eating all of the native plants and even causing the extinction of some native mammal species. It sort of reminds me of the kudzu vine here in the south. It started with a few plants from Asia but since it had no insect enemies here and a much more favorable climate than back home, it just grew and grew. The liability of the plant is that it grows up and over live trees, blocking out all sun and the tree dies. That’s a pretty poor way to treat your support system. Maybe we should bring in some Australian rabbits and see if they like eating kudzu….
At any rate the pewter rabbit name badge can be ordered in one of two color choices for the name plate (the part where the person’s name, title, etc. is engraved.) The pewter rabbit design stands out well against either color.
Is your favorite veterinary professional a rabbit lover? This name badge would make a wonderful gift.
