You can order your Chihuahua name badge either with a silver (stainless steel) name plate or the gold (brass) name plate. Some of my customers order one of each so they can match their name tag with the other jewelry they happen to be wearing on any particular day. The silvery pewter Chihuahua head looks fine with either plate color choice.

You also have a choice of either the magnetic backing (I as well as most of my customers think it's the best choice) or the pin backing. The magnetic backing is by far the longer lasting of the two choices, and I highly recommend it over the pin.

Various researchers seem to disagree on the origins of the Chihuahua placing it in such varied spots as the Aztec civilization, ancient China, Medieval Europe and Malta! There is even some disagreement as to whether it is actually the world's smallest dog which I would say is indisputable but I will bow to the scholarly discussions.
