To be 100% honest I don't know if kittens have and lose baby teeth like humans do but it's an acceptable fairy tale even if it turns out to have absolutely no basis in the reality of cats. All of my name badges are available in one of two choices for the actual name plate itself. You can choose (stainless steel) silver colored  or (brass) gold colored . One is just as durable as the other, so personal preference need be your only deciding factor.

The other choice you have is magnetic backing (highly recommended by my customers (about 98% of them) as well as by the artist herself (me).) I do have pin backs available as well, but in my 7 years of designing name badges the pin backs have not been proven to be as long lasting.
