Description: It’s kind of funny, because Africa isn’t the place I would think of as being hospitable to a domesticated dog. There are some in the villages and the cities, certainly, but the juxtaposition of a yellow lab and an African grey parrot strikes we with a little bit of amusement. I do tend to look at things in a curious way sometimes! That is the curse of being an artist, I suppose. But I do amuse myself sometimes. Back to the subject at hand. As far as a design composition, I decided to offer the two together on a name tag because I like the way they look. The colors are all soft and there is an interesting edge with the two shapes and personalities of the differing animal types. It would be interesting to see how many of my customers actually have this combination of animals! Email me and let me know if you do. I may start a section on my website for stories about pets and I would be more than happy to include yours in that area. I’d like to know how well these two actually get along together.
