| About Our Name Tags |
| I felt there was a need for unique name tags with an artistic touch- name badges that expressed something special about the wearer - to be part of The Magic Zoo jewelry collection. My badges are created from either stainless steel (the silver colored ones) or brass (the gold colored ones). The lettering is only available in the font shown, which has proven to be quite readable. The badge size is 1 1/4" x 3 1/4". Now for the fun part! Every metal name tag can be customized with either a pewter animal or polymer clay animal in the designs shown. Choose your favorite animal or symbol and enjoy wearing a custom badge that says something about who you are and what your interests and favorite animals are. For instance, some of my customers deal only with cats and dogs, and want their name badge to closely reflect their vet clinic. There are many cat and dog combinations possible in the pewter animal name badges, as well as the ones I make in polymer clay. And of course I have some more exotic animal choices as well, from parrots to iguanas. Even a monkey! I think the magnetic name tags are by far the best. You do have a choice of either a magnetic or a pin back on your badge, but by long experience, my customers have convinced me that the magnetic back is far more durable. Plus-no pin holes in your clothing! However, they should not be worn by anyone with a pacemaker; the warning "Caution- Magnetic" is stamped on each magnet as a reminder. Since quite a few of my customers deal with animals, I’d like to reassure you that the name tags do survive being occasionally knocked off onto the floor! Once in a while a customer will tell me she or he has been wearing the same Magic Zoo badge for over ten years! Although I encourage them to get it “freshened up,” it makes me proud to think I’ve contributed to their professional image for such a long time. |
