There are so many ways that you can show the world the great love and affection you have for your animal friends. The heart, of course, is the universal symbol for love. It can be used in so many ways, but since my work is as a jeweler, utilizing this shape to allow people to see how much they love their pets in something pretty to wear was the way I decided to go.

I also like the fact that they are not large, but are of size that is not so small you can’t really feel the impact of the design either. To me, the size is just about perfect. And if you have dogs or cats of no particular name, you know, not especially recognized by any one of those well known clubs, then you can still show your affection with the heart design. I think the unsung heroes of the animal world are those dogs and cats that warm our beds and our hearts on a daily basis. Perhaps they don’t have “papers” to yield credibility to their existence, but they exist just the same and tender the same affection that any pedigreed animal does. Maybe even more, in some instances!
